All the cars have the aerial mast mounted in front of the cockpit which , in the real world, would not be a problem ,as it would disapear from the sight as you focus onto the horizon .

In the game the whole world, near or far is allways in focus thus making the aerial ..A REAL PAIN IN THE ARSE .. the lotus isnt to bad , but i found that some of the cars are just hard work ..

Is there anyway they can be edited out at all ?

Ofcourse there's a way :)

The models can be loaded into 3dsimed, so anyone with enough knowledge of editing 3d models with that tool should easily be able to remove that part.

Finding someone to do it though, thats another story.....

Do what I do, and pretend its a sight to aim at the other cars with.

If you remove it your ever helpful and knowledgable Engineer won't be able to communicate with you whilst you are on track. :thumbdown: or :thumbup::thumbup: :mrgreen:

Yep.Finally...so im not the only one that find that aerial totally absurd!
Please remove it!!!

It is something that every car got, irl too. Also it can really help you aim your turns, as was said a few posts above; use it as an crosshair.

Remove it yourself! LOL! The design on the cars in game are as close to the real thing as we are gonna get. Even if the physics are not the best at least the cars look like their real life counter parts.

If it bugs you so bad just use the tcam, or "bumper" cam. :-P

Yes it does bug me .. Like i said in my post .." In real life your eye would focus on the horizon , making the mast invisible " In this game the mast can not do that , it is allways in your eye line.
I also asked if there was a way to remove it ,, thats all

I think the responses you got here are a forum version of "The Ferrari mascot just took a dump" message from yr engineer. LOL
