Hey Freejrs I just got COD4 so the next time we disagree in the F1 forum we can meet up in COD and take our frustration out in there!! Only kidding pal.

I got pretty good at COD3 online, but only lasted about 3 seconds in Gears of War which put me off a bit.

So it's a good idea putting your tags in here so we actually create a friends list with the hope of some decent online gaming.

I don't want this to turn into a PS3 vs 360 though. I'm sure both machines have their good and bad points so lets keep the usual fanboy comments that you get on most sites out of this thread please. I know it's not easy as you feel the need to protect the machine you spent all that money on, but it would be nice to get away from that sort of thing here.

Well my online experience is a hit and miss...I need to play Soul Calibur IV online to unlock more stuff in the game through "honours".
ONe of which means I have to painsteakingly fight my way and gain enough experience to advance to level 20...
Well seeing as everyone on ranked matches "MUST WIN" it's fulla cheap ass players...of which will beat you despite your skill...

*sigh* it's a shame that these days games have to give you something in order to stop cheapness...

Go Buy COD4 and Fallout 3 if you like shooters...or COD:WAW as you like medal of honor...

As a general rule:

COD4 = faster paced, running and gunning, minor camping
COD:W@W = Slower paced with LOTS of camping!

But COD4 is modern whereas W@W is WWII (again :rolleyes:)

I think you mean COD:W@W as COD5 doesn't exist.

But, you'll still find me kicking it on Modern Warfare, as I don't like campling but prefere running and gunning.

I absolutely disagree, 1st prestige level 51 (already leveled to 70 and prestiged) 4 days of play and I'm absolutely loving multiplayer. Its far better then it ever was in COD4.

I am very curious to find out why you dislike it?

Best gun to use in the begining is M4 - Then move to the M16 then ACR.

Also Magnum with Tactical knife, marathon pro, lightweight pro and commando pro = brilliance.

Get to a high level and the RPG's and 1887's are laugh out loud hilarious and fun.

Just gotta slow down. You know how slow I was moving on my 54-8? Some would say borderline camping, but I was, afterall, defending a flag. :-P

Use the map as your cover. Obviously, say on highrise, people cant shoot from the sides unless you go down the center lane, so you should avoid it.

The key is keeping the enemy in FRONT of you without allowing them to get to your flanks. It comes with time.
