So now I've gotten my porsche steering wheel I got my old one(Logitech MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel) in the corner of my room what should I do with it?

Should I (it's "broken") salvage the parts from it?

The main table fastener is broken that only way to fix it is to find another wheel that doesn't have broken or damaged fastener.

If the wheel works it's good - the bracket is no big deal. Just make sure you indicate that to anyone who may want it.

It is useless I have never used that middle clamp and always remove the whole thing. Gets in the way too.

As for the other 2 if you clamp them to say a 1/2" board and tighten by hand they do not hold very well hey.

I slide a block of "rough" wood 1/2" wide and a bit longer then the length of the 2 clamps under the other one so the clamps are wider which gives them more clamping force. Then they clamp alot tighter and wheel is hard to budge.

I experimented with a few things to tighten them "really tight" you cant do it by hand properly..... well you can if you have a big grip but all you do is end up squeezing the plastic and weakening them from the stress and they still end up loose and you always nipping them up.

Dont use multigrips either did on one Momo and ended up breaking the thin ends eventually :P

What you want is something fits inside the fasteners snugly and catches on the pieces of plastic and you can screw them that tight it never budges again.

I grab mine now with 2 hands on base and try hard cant budge it.

If I did it up with wrist and 1/2" board it would be loose in 15 minutes

A little foam rubber weather stripping applied to the underside of the wheel housing will increase grip and prevent the wheel from sliding off of the desk/table. This worked on my old momo wheel. I also added some to the clamp jaws.

G'Day from Down Under Australia. I think U should keep 4 spares. The pedals can Be easierly adapted to be Compatible with G25/G27 wheel. I have an idea of using the FFB control + motor run in reverse to act as a very basic simulatior motion solution. I will post instructions in forum in the near future.
