I never thought I'd say this, but I wish the loading times were slightly longer. Why? I never get a chance to read the entire quote and the name behind the words.

Well I guess I just want slower times at the end of the race before you are back in the menu.

I noticed that too. Would that also be a console port thing, i.e. on consoles loading takes much longer?

Haha, those quotes do flash past pretty quickly. I'm glad for that though, they seem to be pretty cheesy American "go hard or go home" quotes :S

I have noticed that trend.
Probably why I enjoy reading them and am generally laughing at the portion I managed to read. :D

And as for the console-port issue, yeah I'd say that's likely the case. I'm mostly suspecting the game isn't an actual port, but the entire design was designed for consoles (yet they made some of the menus entirely dependent on keyboard buttons, can't entirely get away from the keyboard when using a wheel for instance) and everything designed around the loading times for consoles and slower PCs.

The loading times for Shift 2 on my system are far better than Shift 1 too. I am quite pleased. :)

I'm not sure if its just the fanatec wheels, but I can do pretty much everything from just the buttons on the wheel.

The only thing I don't have is analog controls for the replays.

The buttons pressed are in wonky places at times but you get used to them fairly quick. The only time I stop using the wheel is for tuning because you can fine tune everything easier with the mouse.
