This track was originally conceived to allow car builders to check data against known distances and bend radii, as such the split times are set to make testing easier and do not reflect "stage times" in the normal way.
The gravel section was added, whilst this has little of use for testers, it does allow back to back tarmac and rough roads testing. More importantly, you can download this track and still have an interesting drive.
