Morning Lads
Just been working away on a Maserati skin thats very similar to the Brock/Perkins Lemans 1984 Porsche 956 and was wondering if there is an easy way to convinve GTR2 to use the Porsche 993 sounds when I drive the car in game to make it a little more authentic? I tried copying the 993GT2.aud file into the Maserati folder and changed a line in the .car file but I either get no sounds or just the same Maserati ones so I'm stumped.
I would also love to see the wheels from the Mosler appear on this car, is there an easy way to do that to? I had a go but only succeeded in making the car disappear from the showroom. Similar attempt, copy the files into the main Maserati folder, change the .car file but no dice.
I'm new to playing about with this side of GTR 2 so if this all has to get very messy before it will work then I am not too fussed, got too many other things to do to spend too much time on it, but if its a fairly simple thing to accomplish I would love to see it, if not that just leaves me more time to practise for tonight Aussie PnG No Grip League race!
Go the Mini!
Thanks
Jim
