Changing tires during race

Hi all.

How do you change types of tires while racing? I can't seem to change from the pit strategy I edit in the beginning. If the strategy is set for Dry (Option or Prime) tires then it starts to rain part way through the race I can't change to Inter's or Wet's and have to continue the race on Dry's, which is pretty pointlerss when it's pouring rain. Hi......
What you do is look in your......
1.....'Driving control profile' within the game....
2..... Go to 'Edit Setup'
3..... Cursor down to Quick menu Left, right etc....
4..... (The keys you allocate are the incar adjustments}
5..... 'UP' key opens the box offering change of wings or tyres
6...... Move the appropriate allocated keys to tyre menu I think its the RIGHT allocated key that offers the available tyres

If changing during race, best to do it just as you enter pits, because if the engineer thinks the weather is wrong for your selection he will ignore you and select the right tyres...well right in the his eyes but wrong for you, take heavy rain at start for example, if you change at the right time you can jump the ai with strategies as they wont use risky decisions, I did this at canada, put on slicks 15 laps in and 4 laps later the drizzle had stopped, I was gaining 2 seconds a lap over the ai, however if not done in the pitlane the engineer will ruin it for you.

Is the 'Driving control profile' in game while racing, if so what button do I press to bring in up on screen? I've read the manual but nothing it tells me to do while racing works.
