After more than three months, 11 rounds, 1170km and 489 minutes of racing, we come to the final round of World Touring Masters Season 2, and to round us off, we have a corker of an event - 300km round Mount Panorama, traversing the same paths as Brock, Ravaglia, Percy, Rouse, Johnson et al all those years earlier.
There are great tracks, and then there are legendary ones, and Mount Panorama, home to the 'Great Race', certainly falls under 'legendary' status. We raced here last season, in a race filled with drama; the two main championship contenders going off at the first turn, Degreef fighting back to lead with three corners to go, and throwing it away at the Chase, to hand Harald Stadler his only WTM career win.
With a maximum of 185 points available to the winning driver, here are the current standings:
Peter Duivelaar - 638
Ben Crooks - 607
Toby Davis - 573
It's all to play for and you can catch all the action live HERE (http://www.racedepartment.com/content/1036-world-touring-masters-tv.html).
Miss it and miss out!
