Game booster is pretty good. I did have a problem very recently where it shutdown some microsoft processes that destroyed my ability to make in-game FRAPS recordings so I had to tweak it a little. Just a warning to future users.

Overall it's pretty user-friendly. Just be aware of any behavioral changes before and after.
