Fps problem in menus

Had the game running fine yesterday

But now each time there is a new screen in the menus the fps are cut to the point where the menus are running at 7 fps


Anyone else experiencing this? Maybe a windows update caused the issue??

menus alwasy run around 20 for me and in game 60

Ah-HA - found the issue

Steam had changed to running in compatibility mode for some reason

Removed this and all was fine again (closed steam - right click on steam application - properties - compatibility tab - select for all users - untick compatibility mode)

Maybe this will help any other that have this issue

I get the same around 33fps in menu 80+ ingame
checked steam compatibility and thats disabled so not sure if steam is the problem.
