in fact I got a birthday present, sort of.

Late in the evening, the phone rang, and I was
told my new DFP wheel should arrive the next day (today).

I got a new one under warranty since sometimes my pedal
pots are acting strange.

BTW, first time they sent me wrong wheel, Driving Force,
but when I told Logitech about it, they just said "keep it, and we send
you another DFP".

I must say Logitech in Sweden really are customer friendly.

Ya, same here in the states. I work for a company that builds pc's and we have never had a problem returning stuff to logitech for warranty/RMA purposes, although we very rarely have a problem with any of the logitech stuff we sell. (mostly mice and keyboards) One of my co-workers just bought the Z-5550 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2177,CONTENTID=9486) speaker set, said that they blew his mind. :) Problem is, he lives in an apartment and has never turned it up past 1/4 volume. :OMG:

some profiles got broken when we moved to vbulletin and the birthdate set to day '0' ... the ones I have needed to edit for other reasons I just changed it to 1 to get past the error in ACP ;)
