So I just can't drive the FF cars, then I always pick up the bmw 320si, wtcc07, but I can't run a good time, I'm always around 1,5 - 2 secs slower. Well I think I'm not the problem haha, because when I drive GTs, I usually run good times.
Anyone here with the same problem? Maybe its just me... I was racing today at Hockenheim Short, which comes with formula raceroom pack (free) the 1st guy did 1:07:5xx I was doing 1:09:4xx, my setup was not biased to under or oversteer, I did one that I could brake and accelerate without losing grip.
If someone could do some laps there and tell me the time, I don't know... Thanks.

Hi,
I think it depends on the track.
Lets take Mozna for example.
My wtcc Honda accord 06 quali times are between 1.59.000 and 2.00.000.
But yesterday i drove a Chevy Lacetti 07 at the same track and done 1.48.800 on my second lap ever in that car. So it must be the car.
When i drove bmw 07 few times i was around 2,00.000 and its difficut to do less for me, but i know BMW guys that are as fast as me (around 1.59.5 and less in quali)
look at this.
BMW 06 E46 230Nm@7000 275HP@8800 1140kg
BMW 06 E90 242Nm@7250 275HP@8300 1140kg
Lacetti 07 -286Nm@6750 288HP@7750 1140 kg
Accord 06 - 250Nm@6750 275HP@8500 1167kg (my car)
BMW 07 e90 - 275Nm@6750 291HP@8000 1140kg (your car)
I think that the biggest advantage on track like Mozna is brake setup (brake pressure, and brake bias). 60/40 sucks and make the car to lock front all the time.
My brake point to prima variante is about 148-150meters. I can see that guys that are doind times over 2.00.000 are brakind about 30 meters earlier.
Ill try attack your time at Hocke short now. cya and sorry 4 my english :)
And the most important thing - do you drive pro, semi pro or amateur?
I assume that pro. Right?

update:
I just did 1.09.3xx on my first lap. Hockenheim short from RR. Car 07 bmw e90 (320si)
so i'm affraid its just you.
1.07.535. I did it on offline timeattack. I uploaded the time to the server so its there. You can download my time to your computer so you can see my driving lines and braking points.
You can also see a screenshot in my steam gallery (profile name sas2000 i think or Kuba_Sas)

I did it without settin up the car. Just default setup. There is still plenty of places to improve.
I believe that time under 1.07.000 in bmw is more than possible.
Good luck.

Thank you for that! I will see what I can do, there is a lot of possibilities to change here. I drive in pro too, but I'm also using the H shifter, actually I feel it is faster than sequential or paddles... I'm driving with all wheel settings at 50%, 720º and 30º steering in game.
