Hi Midi, I was there too, since 7.30 to 10.30 when scrutineering, Down under at Elile's parking.

Then to special stage of Lohja (Lojo) to Hyrsylän mutka.
Nice drives and handlings of a car, Scandinavian (Finnish) flicks, wonderful sound of 2-stroke Saab of 1963, Jaguar E-type, 1964. Trabant 1965, Wartburg 1964 and 1971, Mini 850-1071-1300.
Mini, Cooper s, Cooper S. Rally Cadets, etc.etc.

I wished, Roger were here, with his sound recording equipment.
He should have enjoyed...he, with one type of car only....

I were surprised by the speed of those saabs. I was watching 13.00->18.30 stage 3 and 23.20-> sometime stage 11 or 12.

I was kind of happy to see Mr. Erkki Vanhanen with Rs1800 to acchieve a right 90 degree, a lot of engine noice, some quiet, and the an Escort appeared, rear end first. and slowly disappeared in a huge bank of snow!
After some digging of us, he continued.
Endid as 52/220!
