I am converting some tracks to GTR2 from rFactor but looking at the ai go round the track they seem to have tightened their line from the rFactor version.

Is there a quick fix for this or do i have to re-record the ai in rFactor slighty wider?

Thankyou

This is one of the bigger differences from rFactor to GTR2 and even to Race07, the AI handles the parameters differently and rFactor entries for the pace car are different than simbin games. I usually have to adjust each troubled corners corridors to get the AI to stay on track and if that don't help[, I have to redo the fast line. It can be pretty time consuming to get a good AIW.
The Monaco 2007 I did, I prolly had about 20 to 30 hours into getting it right.

Thankyou N2LO for your reply,

20 to 30 hours!! Thats dedication

Would my dirty fix of re-recording the ai slightly wider work though? ive never done ai before so does the ai line represent the exact middle of the cars wheels or is there much movement from left to right? i mean if one ai car over-takes another it must come off the exact ai line for that time, so is there a certain amount of play on either side of the central groove?

Thankyou

N2LO, any chance of uploading some new AIW's? Mainly a Monaco AIW?

:)

My Monaco AIW file is included with my Monaco 2007 track for download here at Nogrip.

In GTR2 the Ai likes to wonder off the fast line and even over the far corridors. It is a real trial and error to get a really good AIW especially on problem tracks.
