Does anyone know where this guy went or how to get a hold of him ("Brandon" is his name I believe)?

I purchased a set of his G25 shifter paddles almost a month ago, and haven't gotten a single response. I tried emailing him at both his site and the eBay site many times.

I'm starting to get frustrated, to say the least. :)

Many months back I had the same issues with items (G25/27 adapters and 320mm/350mm paddles) that were lost (?) in shipping. He claims he shipped it again but after 3 months still no delivery. After a few more e-mails and mentioning about filing a Paypal or Credit Card claim, he was very good about refunding my money and even the Paypal charges. He seems to be having probms shipping his stuff, maybe he is going thru a product manufacturing probm phase. I've now stop buying from him.

Hi All,

Some here may know I offer adapters and paddles...and other goodies as well. I ship on the same day and keep plenty of stock on hand. I don't like to hear about people not getting their orders :(

Derek,

Wanna ship me a set of extended G25 paddles with the money I sent the other guy before he vanished? Ship me the paddles, and then you try to get the money back from him? LOL

Here's something better - you can order a set of paddles from my site and you'll have them by Wednesday ;)

The problems experienced w/ Chilikoke are warning signs to "stay away" !

Continuing to order or attempting to do business with these guys who ignore, "disappear", do not respond to e-mails, and generally act as though they don't give a damn is only asking for problems.

The very same thing with "SimBoot", the guy started w/ whacky excuses, then disappeared w/ no explanation whatsoever, doesn't answer EMs, has left several (including myself) w/o correct product, or non shipment of PAID orders.

Can you come to any conclusion other than outright fraud if these people continue to accept Paypal but they don't ship or haven't communicated with anyone for months ???

I just ordered the wheel adapter (on the 21) and will give him until tomorrow to email me with the shipping info. If I receive not word I will email requesting the shipping info. If I don't hear anything after another week I will open a paypal claim.

Calan I would suggest you email him and let him know that if he doesn't respond then you will be opening up a paypal claim. If you still hear no word then I would just open one.

Also why do people call him "Brian" when the paypal goes to a name that certainly is nothing close to "Brian"?

I have paddles in stock and more adapters coming in a few days. BTW, my universal adapter fits both the G25 and G27 and will allow either a Momo, OMP, Sparco wheel (70mm) and a Nardi (74mm) to mount to it. It's 4 adapters in one. I also have an adapter for the T500 Thrustmaster as well as an adapter for the Driving Force GT/Pro. And...I even have another adapter coming out which will allow a Grant to be mounted.

Here are some shots:

paddles are 28.75 and include free worldwide shipping, the G25/27/DFGT adapters are 19.75 plus shipping and the T500 is 34.75 plus shipping. Hit me up if you decide to move forward. I do hope your orders arrive quickly. I make it a point to ensure my components get shipped FAST. And I am not hard to find ;)

I will hit you up for sure if chili doesn't get back to me. I have given him the standard 1-2 business processing days so I expect to hear from him by tomorrow with my order and shipping info. Shipping should only be 3-5 days as well. If I don't then I will start the paypal claim and if that doesn't work four of my family members are lawyers so.....;-)

I've emailed him several times and he hasn't responded. And I opened a Paypal dispute a week ago.

He responded to me a few months back when I ordered an adapter from him (which arrived just fine...I hadn't seen Derek's stuff at that time), and he signed the email "Brandon".

I think Brandon aka Chilicoke is just a middle man that gets these from someone in China, which is also where the order goes.

Hi gang,

I cannot speak about the business practices of others, and hope everyone understands my position on it. Anyone who deals with me deals with the man who designs and makes the components. My adapters are made in my machining partner's shop 20 minutes from me right here in Florida, and I oversee the process. I design everything I make and I build my button boxes in my own shop right here. The buck stops with me and everyone deals with me. That's how I like to do it.

Everyone who has ordered from me - and it's just about everyone who is a sim racer, a fact I am VERY proud to say - will tell you that I delivery quality components and service. If you find something better, great. If I can do what I do better, I will and am actively looking to do it regularly. I also have 20 plus years of business management experience and rely on this - my last enterprise has thousands of customers and the buck stopped with me then :)

I like sim racing and I like making goodies for us. It seems there aren't too many doing what I do, and I want to set the standard for how it's to be done. Just my own thoughts on it.

d

I hope everyone gets their orders quickly or receives communication about what is happening. No one wants to be left in the dark.

I'd just like to add I've dealt with Derek and he's a top bloke to deal with, any questions are usually answered within the day, and his products arrive quick. Pleasure dealing with him.

TYVM :)

I have a new adapter coming out (it's already out, actually)...I have one for the Grant wheels, so guys with wheels mounting to a 5 bolt pattern are now no longer left out! :)

As it is, I have adapters for the G25, G27, DFGT, DFP and T500. Users with Momo, OMP, Sparco, Nardi or Grant are fully supported.
