according too the last info seems that Latvala is quickest on shakedown in turkey :?: but most likely Loeb will end on first spot. Hope the sub do well.

Well, most likely, as you put it Loeb will not end on the first spot.

Like I said in the other thread, only seven non-Finnish drivers have ever won the Neste Oil rally throughout its history since the year 1951. Four of them were Swedish, one was Estonian, both being neighboring countries to Finland. The two others are Didier Auriol in 1992 and Carlos Sainz in 1990.

In 2006, Grönholm's average speed on Ouninpohja was 171 km/h.

Of course I'd be happy if Loeb does the same as Auriol in 92. But I'd rather have an interesting rally with an happy fin(n)ish.

Have to make a little correction. The 171 km/h was Grönholm's average speed during the 46 seconds that he drove with wide open throttle at Ouninpohja in 2006. Average speeds of the whole stage are around 130 km/h.

Yeah, I would also bet my money on Latvala. If he finishes without a mechanical failure, he'll win.
