Anyone manage to fiddle with views?

I tried adjusting the views the same way I did in 2010 via decoding the XML files with binxml, changing what I wanted and re-encoding them, but it doesn't seem to have any effect in game.

I'm wondering if I've just forgotten something I had to do for 2010, or if this just no longer works. Anyone gotten it to work?

how about some edited replay cams? This is almost a game breaker for me because I love watching my replays but they absolutely SUCK in this game. cant even bear to watch em most of the time.

The replay cameras are stupid, and it's kind of telling that they just don't get it. People watching replays want to watch themselves race like they were on TV, so they should have tried to emulate the TV coverage camera positions, and a few of them are like that, so there is no reason why they couldn't.

I don't want a music video with shaky cameras flying all over the place and rock music, I want to see a replay of the damn race.

thank you aeromech. those numbnut at codemasters just dont get it do they? they have improved greatly over last year I will give em that. but these replays are horrid.

some of the music is OK,but I prefer to add my own. I am sure they will say FOM wont allow it to look like TV or some other lame ass excuse. I swear, I would punch that Steve Hood in the grill if I saw him. Those guys are so annoying the way they talk the game up to be so awesome. I remember reading somewhere that the replays were gonna be improved this year. It seems exactly the same. Can we even switch cars this year? I thought it was possible too. FAIL FAIL FAIL.

Agreed with the useless replays and music, but also the normal driving view is shaky, makes me go googlie eyed after a while.

Sack that stupid Stephen Hood and replace him with empty space.

the head shake mod for 2010 works in 2011..
just back up your original files..
it is one of the 1st mods for 2010 on page 3 in the 2010 download section.

Sorted it out, I was editing the *_ss section instead of the one I meant to.

Now I got it the way I like it. Thanks fellas.
