Can't skin the wsgt C6.R

When i download the skins for the C6.R i place it in the folder it tells me to, but, when i go to choose my vehicle it lists the car and the team but i cant see the car.
Any suggestions?

Firstly you need the WSGT mod for the C6 otherwise they won't show up.

If you do have the mod and they still don't show up, then you've installed the car incorrectly.

The C6's should be installed under GTR2\gamedata\teams\wsgt\Chevrolet Corvette C6R Teams\<insert team name here>\

Possibly you've got an extra directory somewhere that messes the game up even though it still sees the .car file.

i checked what directory and it is installed in and it corresponds with what you listed.
I dont think i have an extra directory installed.

Ok but do you have the actual WSGT mod? Having the individual car isn't enough.

What files are under the \Chevrolet Corvette C6R Teams directory?? There should be a whole bunch of .gtr, .cas or .hdc files.

If you don't have any then you don't have the mod itself.

i have the christmas edition with the lotus, ultima, and mclaren and it has the files that you mentioned.

Hmm.... well try opening one the .car files and look for the HDvehicle and Graphics lines at the top. They refer to a .hdc and a .cas file the car needs.

There are a few different variations of C6 files floating around that some people use that didn't come with the original mod.

The two files should be present under your corvette teams directory. If they aren't then just change the lines in the .car file to a .hdc and .cas file that are present and the cars should show up.

If that doesn't work, then I still think you've got an improper install. :)
