View Full Version : Cheapass Logitech Momo Force pedal extend mod

The pedals are generally fine to use but I figured I wanted more surface area for my foot. I took some board, cut it, banded it (with about 6 tight, thick rubber bands per pedal -- 3 top, 3 bottom ahead of the arm), duct-taped it tight as I could -- they're pretty rigid. The soft padding between keeps the board from having any play.

I was going to just screw them to the pedals, but I didn't have any nuts/screws/bolts around. :-P

The only thing I need to add is some texture/grip. It's not bad, but would feel better.

Now it's only a matter of time before the bands might snap, but that's fine -- it's a harmless (albeit ugly) mod. I was bored, and I'm just anxious to upgrade to a G27 anyway.

The next thing I want to do is increase the resistance (saw a way of doing this using bungee cables)

I use a bungee connected to throttle and pulled to the right for stopping Momo Pedal Spike.

Much better then cleaning or glue pots, etc.

I found that is the main problem, not the Pots.
Momo was made with only one throttle spring so eventually
it leans inwards and the pot does not align.

I tried the bungee stuff, but couldn't hook them in a good way on the pedal base. I ended up taking off the extended pedals as I cleaned out the set inside today (wow hair and dirt ugh).
