WANTED: Fellow 'real' drivers to play FORZA4 online with...

I've mentioned this in my other recent post, but will post again in case it's missed:

I'm really not enjoying FORZA4 multiplayer. My experiences so far have been of screaming kids (c/o the XBOX headset) who won't/don't/can't drive properly, and of people who smash into everybody else on the very first corner in a win-at-all-costs-and-f**k-the-rest-of-you 'manoeuvre'.

This inevitably leads to votes to kick, abuse via the headset, and a generally all-round bad atmosphere in the lobby.

There MUST be some sensible FORZA drivers in here. If so, please add my Gamertag to your friends list, so I can enjoy some REAL racing, as opposed to the arcade-like shambolic joke that is all I've come across so far.

I prefer to run cars in stock form though and dealing with the cars innate character rather than tuning this out, it creates a level playing field.

If you guys are interested in some Endurance racing (ALMS/LMS) you can always sign up in the FLMS ! The season will most likely start in February :)

Of course you can always sign up now, add some people and help with the cars balancing, or just to screw around waiting for the season to start ! :P

Yes you must be invited to be a part of a league, but you can join the website I mentioned in the other topic. You will receive a quick questionare to describe yourself to the site members. But considering your membership here, you're already on good standing. Both with players here, and at the other site. And nobodies gonna fault you for a little rubbing in racing. Even if you keep your aggressively earned position. So long as it doesn't turn into Massa/Hamilton 2011, I'm sure all will be good sport.

Agreed. There is a huge discrepancy in cars' performance even in the same class when racing online in FORZA4. I prefer to stick to the cycled production races where everybody races on an even footing.

I think this has to do with the particularities of the build of the car in a class. Not all builds are the same. The Gen 1 Miata is a good example. Build that car up to E275 using weight reductions, all suspension tuning, drivetrain tunes and tires, include spiltter and wing and you will have one quick Miata.

Until someone pulls up along side in the exact same Miata, only there's have a Sport Centrifugal Supercharger(good for 26hp over stock) and a Sport Flywheel, for the same E275 class, and then they go about .726 seconds faster around Silverstone International. :ohmy:

Its not just to build your car to a spec in Forza, it's how you build in Forza. Some parts are more valuable than others.


Sometimes power costs too much. Think of weight, but other times power trumps all. It varies from car to car. And it takes time to learn this.



I like driving cars stock. But I also like spec builds, and full class mods. I like all the classes, But E275, D350, C425 and B500 are my favorites. A and S classes can be fun but it depends on the cars. In the game racing against A.I. sometimes means AWD is mandatory in these classes. One of the A.I., often two will be rocking an AWD car, so for a nice frustration free race you need AWD to get to the front quickly and get away quicker.

Otherwise, it's checkbrake, checkbrake, block, checkbrake, block, impact, block, impact, checkbrake, oops did you want to have that line? Checkbrake! Block! 4 car crash! Oh I'm sorry mr. playa did you want to have a good race? I don't do good racing! I studied under Takuma Sato and Jacques Villenueve! My name is M Rossi, don't come near me unless your favorite paint scheme is ground metal.
