Hi to all. I dont know how to get the correct sreen look for NKP 1.3. I need help w/ very simple instructions. Step by step. I would be so gratefull! I have never played on a pc...ever. I have a 40 in 1080 HD tv with a 15inch Dell laptop using VGA. my reccomended resolution is set at 1366 X 768 on pc. That is when VGA is not connected. It "jumps" as high as 1600 x 1200 when plugged in to tv w/ VGA. Please...what do I set it at plugged in to tv w/VGA and then what resolution setting in the NKP video in game menu? There is like 50 to choose from in the drop down. Then FOV....60 comes up as default, change? One last thing...... Steering ratio is 16 to 1 default. Change? I am using Fanatec GT2 w/ 900 degrees Sensitivity. I love this sim and am learning slowly. I need some very simple talk instructions. I REALLY need to fix this. Thank you in advance. I do appreciate it a lot.

I can't help with the resolution settings other than suggest you try and pick one with the same native resolution and refresh rate as your monitor(s). The higher the better, but will affect your system performance.
I find the FOV (field of view) a bit high on all sims. If you go to "view" in-game, you will be able to adjust it nearer (lower) as desired. Just make sure you can still see some of your side mirrors and also use your virtual mirrors.
Steering ratio is again personal taste. I prefer max ratio in game and approx 725 degrees at my wheel settings. This gives quite a wide range of movement which I like. Lowering your degrees will give a much "tighter" feel to your steering.
I also find the default ffb settings far too strong and lower them to taste, again you'll find these under the "view" tab in-game.
As with most sims, there are lots of little personal tweaks. A couple of hours of trial/error is the best advice. It's definitely worth the time as it's a fantastic sim.

Thanks a lot 57goldtop, I have it sorted pretty good now. Very helpul advice.:-)
I've run nKPro on my laptop for the last couple of years (although I know have a PC). The only issue I've found with regards to resolution is any lower than 1280x720 you lose widescreen. I never outputted to my TV though, as with the (low) settings I had to run on made the game look awful on a 40" screen.
BoNI's setup guide (http://www.mediafire.com/?sxouesr357ono6o) has some values for steer(ing) ratio's:
500 Abarth: 15:1
F16/1800: unknown (recommended 13:1)
Osella: Unknown (estimated 13:1)
Vintage GT: 16:1
It varies from track to track though. For example you might run as low as 9:1 on a street circuit. When it comes to wheel settings for single seaters I use 400 odd degrees (406 to be precise :)) & the other cars 900. The Osella is an odd one, it seems to be 400 as well but I know some people run higher (say 540).
