Thrustmaster TH8RS shifter question?

Hi all, looking to replace my Logitech G25 shifter with the new Thrustmaster TH8RS but just wondered how it would default as a controller on PC games like GTR2.:?:
At the moment my G25 wheel is controller 1, Fanatec CS pedals controller 2 and i assume the TH8RS shifter would be controller 3.
Has anyone tried this and are there any conflicts?
Do most race sims on PC have 3 controllers possible or more?

3 is possible AND the limit for most current games.
The Shift games can't do it though, as far as I'm aware?

i confirm more than 2 controller in gtr2 and gtr evo, i have dfp number 1 , speed 7 as number 2 and actlabs rs shifter as 3
