I don't know why but I don't have a folder of my name in the userdata folder so I can install setups. Tried it on an older computer and it had the folder.

How can I fix this? I tried creating another profile, still not appearing in userdata.

If it is Windows 7, you should look in your My Documents folder (or whatever it's called now). I believe that is the problem.

I checked the documents folder, still nothing there. There's not a folder with my name in it.

Is it because I installed GTR2 into program files x86 and also installed it inside a folder that I created? The reason I did that is because there was no auto folder creations when installing, so I didn't want all the games files and folders to be layed out in program files x86, had to create a folder and installed the game in it. But still I can't find my userdata, any other suggestions?

Type your user name into search & then you will know where it is.

Nope, still nothing.

This seems to be a major issue. Now I can't quite race very well in LeMans, my engine keeps blowing up on the 14th lap -.-

Save a setting from the game and then you look for ".svm" in windows.

The install process seems odd. You should have only had to choose x86 and the entire package should then be installed under x86/GTR2. My guess, is that your custom install either left out certain folders, or placed them in a spot GTR2 does not look. Odd.

Take a look at your files using windows explorer. Ensure that you do not have something like this....
x86\GTR2\GTR2 you may have double nested the sim one layer deeper in a folder. I have had this happen a-lot with tracks, I usually use the mouse to move the track folder from the zip file into the locations folder. Works great if the track is by itself. But some track builders assume you will unzip straight to the GTR2 folder and then I have to dig down through the GameData\Locations\GameData\Locations\LostTrackFol der to find the track and copy it all back to just the GameData\Locations folder.
Good luck

Still nothing.

I did what you 2 previous replies told me, nothing.

There's no double folder or any of that, there's no .svm after saving a setup.

If it's the installation then will it work if I uninstall it then reinstall it?

If you are able to load the game, then you see your profile in game, that folder has to exist somewhere on your system. If the Profile folder was not saved, you would have to create a new profile every time you start the game.

I wish I could help you more, but when I installed on Win 7, I put it on a partition and bypassed all the split folder BS.

If you are willing to re-install, just install to C: root drive. Not the default place.

I just created a folder on C: called Games & install into that.
Yes you must have a profile. Do another refined search, it's got to be somewhere.
