View Full Version : After installing gtr reborn.

Hi folks after installing gtr reborn, my sgt500 mod stopped working, all my other mods are okay. Has anyone else ran into this problem, and is there a way to fix it. Or can I install another copy of the game I have four hard drives if that is possible. Oh yeah thanks to all who run this site, I love it. I had to reinstall windows and I found out that I had over 30 gigs of stuff just for gtr2, which is I will always support this site.

Hi there,

Firstly installing multiple copies is easy easy easy! What I've done :

(1) Installed GTR2 and patched to latest version. (This is the "clean" copy).
(2) Copy (1) and rename it to "GTR2 Reborn". Then install the Reborn mod into this.
(3) Copy (1) and rename it to "GTR2 Mod XYZ" and install "mod xyz" into it.

and so on....hope this is clear. You just need to make new shortcuts on your desktop pointing to the copies.

PS Install Reborn in a fresh, new clean copy of GTR2 - it's not compatible with other mods.

Do a iso image of (1) after you do config.exe , player, settings, music, etc and test. Saves reinstalling. ;)

Nah this would be pointless. It would take as much time to reinstall from the iso as install a clean copy of GTR2. i.e. 2 mins so what would be the point?

If you're going to do an iso either do one of your clean OS before installing apps like games or else AFTER games are installed and configured. For instance GTR2 with the mods you think you'll always have on your hard drive.

If you've space do both...clean OS and "with games I'll always play".
