another good track which i can not drive..

in dubai we did make a barbeque?? (make cock? outside of house with good meat and beer)
and this saturday is german soccer cupfinal FC Bayerns vs. Dortmund

next saturday i can not drive too, of course, FC Bayern make championship title (thanks to barca for let chelsea win:laugh:) in own stadion.:thumbup:

then i hope i can drive again, but not exactly sure, i have to go to 1x to a wedding and wedding is always on saturday in bavaria, in juni this is, but did forgot exactly data (always good to have a wife for things like this, woman always knows things like this)

HI MATE! my best was 1.36.400 but i think i can do better! NO doubt that its gonna be beaten by someone faster!

Enjoying this track/car combo. Haven't done times without ballast yet but 35's in quali trim didn't take too long to come up. I imagine 34's for people without ballast are possible.

Proved this morning that GTR2 and myself cannot deliver!

Too easy as everyone had like 60000kg

Only started practising for this week an hour before, and knew that two corners would probably cause me grief.
Had the lead for 2 laps and right when I started to pull a small gap on Peter and drew some Oxygen into my lungs I screwed up on one of those corners - the last corner.
Just ran wide but gave up the lead and then was the meat in the sandwich between From and Jay. Did 2 untidy and embarrassing laps while infront of Jay then got back at From, went for the crossover, but he was sliding and I smashed into him and sent him round (sorry mate) - at this point I was over it!

Continued on and got sideways at the other corner I knew I would F up and lost 3rd - Skog had great pace but let me by (thanks mate) - then I tried in futility to catch Peter and Jay! Closed the gap maybe 2 seconds in 30 minutes.

Underperformed in this league again!

I was not going to race tonight since been sic for some days now but then decided to race anyway.
Nice and fun first laps. Then little spin and dropped way way back. It was just going around and round for 15....18 mins and then I had good fight on last laps. Little mistake and 4th pos was out of reach.

Starting to get a good feel for the car now after a disappointing start to the season. Qualified 2nd and i had a few more tenths in the car too but my son was finishing his iracing truck race and i didnt want to distract him so went out late in the session.

Got a good start but braked too early for T1 and Wps retook the lead on the outside. Peter followed him and i was stuck on the inside of T3 with Fromgehenna outside me. Dropped to fourth :-(

Then braking for T5 i think maybe Arch forgot cold brakes and tyres = no stopping power and i had to leave a gap on the inside to avoid contact. Arch gave back the position and we both continued unharmed :thumbup:

After the chased the front three, Wps made an error and subsequently wound up in a bump with Fromgehenna at T1/2 so i was second, about 3.5 secs behind Peter.

Didn't think i could catch him but slowly inched in lap after lap. Nearly got past a few times but Peter clung on with some heroic driving before i think he lost the rear in the middle sector, allowing me an easy pass. After that i just held the gap to the end.

Great fun chasing you down Peter. I think we were both pushing to the limit! Congrats Peter and Wps on podiums and i hope we get all our regulars back for the next event because these cars do really create some fantastic racing!

I was racing as "Arch Stanton". Haven't done much online racing before; hope I didn't mess anyone's race up.

Upshifted into 2nd waaay too early at the start and lost a few places, then some ragged driving for the first few laps.

Eventually fell back to 6th, spun, and got overtaken as I was recovering. I spent a couple of laps getting 6th back, and was finally able to stick a pass in the first corner. From there the gap ahead to 5th just kept opening up as I lost tons of time in the last two sectors each lap, and so 6th it stayed, despite a few more excursions.

It looks like that with 8l and soft I'm .7 sec slower than with med and full tank :?:

Q session was a nightmare, and I understand now why the 911 was called the widow maker: I was all over the place in nearly every turn :-(

Good start, and after a few laps (and the help of racers going off track ;-) ) I'm third. This won't last, since wps is back me, and obviously faster. I let him by, and 2 laps from the end Fromgehenna is pressing hard, but makes a mistake in the last lap, so I can relax the last hundred meters...

Funny race and funny car :thumbup: Congrats to Jay for winning with a sandbag in the passenger seat, and podium.

See you next race maybe...

quali 7th

i was outrun by bob on the outcome of t1 and was then in last place
for the next 10 laps, stuck behind him , all i could do was wait for bob
to make some kind of mistake.
then suddnly , arch had gone off somewhere and i enjoyed watching
the batlle that was going on between arch and bob
who had then passed arch.
a couple of laps later , arch could outbreak bob and again i was on bob his rear, but not for long as not much later he went off track and i could pass for 7th.
later on i tried to pressure arch but to no good result
as he was faster and more consistent than me.
a nice race that i enjoyed.

...What a race I didnt expected to be leading the race for over 22laps lol but I did. I was pushing very hard but Jay was catching me every lap. I;ve had bad setup + to much fuel :((( I wasnt prepare for this race properly just joined hall hour before qualify. When Jay catch me I did mistake and let Jay passed me...and I finished second. Not bad but could be better...lol Well done to Jay and 78 for podium:) I really enjoyed this race and I';m looking forward for next one:)))
