Did about 10 laps last week. Nice track. 1:34.5** was best so on saturday I'm hoping to get about 1s off from the time.
I also did 1:34.5 on almost full fuel.
This is a very nice track. Hotlapping it alone is very fun. I'll have to test how it is with other people around. There are some nice overtaking spots, but a little mistake costs you dearly.
Not done any laps with the Porsche yet but our last race here was a real blast. It's a great track and i think it will suit the car very well.
This is actually a cool track online.

I just did some practice laps, race fuel only just getting in the 35's. But i have never driven this track. I hope to get closer than almost 2 seconds off what seems to be the pace but just a clean race is the goal atm.
Hi guys i have to go out and may not be back in time for the race tonight, its touch and go.
If i don't make it the weight ballast are already applied and ready. Just use the voting system to cycle the server to quali at 19:30 UK time.

Sorry guys,cannot race tonight,my computer will not run GTR i think it might be the graphics card but i have had plenty of use out of this old one so not complaining.

Another race to forget due to my inexperience for a big part, I guess. I wanted to be aggressive, and I was, but when it mattered I always backed out or let someone past to be fair. I was trying too hard to be fair. That's why a virtually hit every sand trap in the first 2 laps. From then on it was trying to catch A. Stanton but I kept making small mistakes. I had a nice little fight with Nectaria, but he spun out unfortunately.

Was very very tired and also not so many laps done so had a hard time getting constant lap times. At race I was very happy to follow Berger but after I had a clean track ahead I was just lost. Braking points vary alot and so on. But all and all a good, fun race. :mrgreen:

Q:3. I did an ok lap, but not enough fuel, i had to esc to pits and by then it was too late to get hot tyres again, etc. Excellent laptimes though i think some of you have ballast (?)
R:3. Very careful at the start here, don't want to cause any problem in my first race and get a bad rep :laugh: So, in 4th then, but the person in front (i haven't learnt all names yet sorry) locked up and ran wide, so i regain third. Then the two guys in the lead must have tangled, cause i passed through to lead. But they caught me, and one made a great forceful move in Portago corner. Then i was second, but made a small mistake to lose 4 seconds. After this Berger caught me and was quicker, so i had to defend almost like Gilles Villeneuve all through the rest of the race. It was so hard, i looked at the clock and there was still 20 min to go, which made me swear loudly :laugh: Thanks to Berger for close, clean and fair racing :thumbup: Tyres were SO worn in last few laps.
In summary - holy crap is every race like this? I had a blast!! Thx guys.

Started with the engine at 7%...after a few laps I dropped down to 2 then 1%, I just coasted into the pits and called it a day.
Happens I guess.

... what a race was) I did only few laps yesterday. I didnt expected bed on pole and win this race.Shame Jay coudnt take a part of this race..
Q- not happy with the weight I felt like driving tank lol amazing first but I was so surprise with that.
R- Start ok then I had Fromgehenna ans Scotty behind me. I did some mistakes and my postion was change a lot. I had a little contact with Fromgehenna, wait to let him go then scotty catched me and after mistakes overtook me then start amazing race to catch them. Ihad amazing racing with Fromgehenna which I really enjoyed it,well done mate;-)))Well done to podium and all who take a part of this race;-)))I think is one more race so I'm looking forward on it cause this mod is absolute incredible!!!

Disappointed by my qualifying time, since I had done 1:34.1s offline with ~15-20 laps fuel, but couldn't crack the 1:33s on soft tires and low fuel (even though the car felt faster).
Interesting first few laps, gained a place as someone fell off the road at Pegio, in the next corner saw another car slide off into the gravel, thought "woohoo, another place" ... and then I braked too late myself. Visited the gravel a few more times to find myself in 8th, got a place back as Skenys slid off, was able to pass Nectaria, then got around Seyli as he slowed with a problem, and from then on it was pretty uneventful to the end, as I just lost time each lap to whoever was in 4th.

Did you try to go back to box and then back to grid? Usually everytime you exit box the game gives you different engine %.
On this mod it's between 16.....99% for most of the time. I started 39% and it only dropped to 36% during the race.
Also the engine on this mod can take severe abuse. On race I was tired so had one or two (and many more) realy bad down shifts. So bad that rear wheel's locked and the engine over reved but still didn't take much damage.

hello,
i was more then surprised and much happy that i had a so much good race yesterday.
it was my 3rd online race in 20hours and i had done 0 laps, normaly i would jump in server around 30min. before quali start for make any practise, but then wife (and me) did make a talk? with the neighbours and this did not end and so i come home in 20.40 (and was not so happy about this) and did quick start computer, but was in fear i will be to late for jump in server, but lucky for me, server was in quali if i come in lobby (20.45/46) and i was in.
i had no idea about fuel and if there was are pitstop races in this series (2xfuel???), so i did load hungary setup (which was my only race with this cars), did make more fuel (faster track then hungary) to 62 litres, which was to much, but ok. and did change the rear wing from 10 to 8.
so short after i did come in server, it comes the race then.
i know track, which was important.
i did make it easy to first laps and did learn track quick, after any laps i did found rhytmn and was then later in race in 4th position.
i did close gap to scotty then and was direct behind him,
i was often (the complete 2nd half of race) very close behing him, but was not able to make overtake, he did not mistakes, was always in correct position out of corner, so i could neve overtake him.
it was very hard and i was much concentrate not to hit him from behind and did wait for a little mistake for make overtake, but he did not, always good lines he did and so i could do nothing and had to stay in place 4th.
was good fight, never one of us did bad moves in overtake try or to hard defende, it was exactly how online race fights should be.
i did enjoy the fight
well done peter for win with 50kg and
well done to fromgehene for 2nd place and
well done scotty for 3rd place in debut race and good and clean defende positon.
i did not like this porsche cars from past, but now i like it, very good for online race action and with cockpit view (which i use for 2 months now) the cars are more easy to controll and make more fun.

I actually don't really know how to go from the grid to the box without hitting Escape...
Any word on what happened to Jay?

You can go safely from grid to box and back before grid is full and clock goes 00:00.

You need to be a bit carefull though... If you are all waiting for just one driver to start the race... then it's possible to Escape back to garage at the same time as the last guy joins... then you'll get dq'd and stuck in garage

I rushed back and only just made it onto the server - i had a Chinese takeaway in hand and i was hungry... :laugh:
Watched the race though and very entertaining it was too with the front few so close together for so long!

Jay technically attended the race and is classified with last and a DQ - I do the points solely off the official results page as that is easily the fairest and most indisputable method.
But I'm going to hold here - for some input from all of you.
- If he is classified as an attender he will only have 30kg for the next race.

- If I give him a blank spot he keeps 60kg...

as he will become 0 points for this race, normaly 30kg version is better, but if someone do miss this race, he will become 0 points and do stay with his 60kg.

In that case I'd argue he keeps 60kg - If we set the standard that you lose weight for just joining a server, then people could just quickly log on when they can't race, and lose their weight for the next race?
Interesting decision here!
I get the feeling Jay will be diplomatic and generous and ask to keep the 60kg - sorry Jay, can't allow that!! We have to decide and not just give you the dud deal!
If you were someone I didn't like then I'd probably argue that you stay on 60kg though :(
Basically the reason I'm asking is that I wasn't there and don't know if you got discoed, or intended to race but were too late, or just joined to watch.
If people join just to watch I'd say no change in weight because they didn't compete.
