Hello racefriends,

GPChampionship (http://www.gpchampionship.com/gpcos/) and Radiator Springs Racing Team (http://www.radiators-champ.com/) have joined forces. Together we are organising the Simracers Against Cancer benefit race. This race will be held on Saturday June 2nd. The venue is Laguna Seca and we will race the Formula Renault 2.0 with netKar PRO. Yes, just like we did in the Steen Staehr Memorial Race after he passed away back in 2009 from cancer .

Read all about this great race here in our news announcement (http://www.gpchampionship.com/gpcos/news-item-detail.php?id=311)

In the meanwhile, pre-qualifying has started!! Let's do what we love and do something good while doing it: race together and raise money in order to beat cancer!

Shame they're using the unofficial beta update, but I guess that shouldn't be surprising since RSR is one of the communities that's helping to organize this event.

why unofficial? it's coming from Kunos, and it's bringing few improvements that guarantee to have fair races. This update will be released soon by Kunos. It's a way to help him testing.

You're right it is from Kunos, but it's not on the website hence the reason I consider it unofficial. If that update didn't have other new bugs in it I would have installed it...but the one rain bug where it becomes impossible to see very quickly is a pretty serious bug. Hopefully Kunos fixes the bugs in that beta sooner rather later. :)
