Hi folks,

We have entered final testing of a new historic track for rFactor2. Coming in two configurations (to start with), "Brianza" is a 1966 10km (max) circuit suitable for 1966 period F1 cars.

Also featured in the screenshots is the Brabham BT20, now officially confirmed.

All were taken in a development build (why the strange resolution and lack of AA).

Thanks,

Tim and ISI.

Wonder why Monza isn't licensed, but who cares, I want the crazy banking!

We have [also] licensed an important mid-50's sports car.

Wonder why Monza isn't licensed, but who cares, I want the crazy banking!

Such cases are usually due to exorbitant fees being asked by the owners. Occasionally licensing is flatly refused for unstated reasons (a popular US track has refused licensing offers and won't even allow anyone on the track to photograph or measure ...sim versions have been created largely from satellite images and in-car videos).

Awesome, looks great!
Speeding in and out of shadows on the banking will be great. Good to see the Brabham and hope there's more real cars with it.

Edit: I see one of the screens has a 'Shell' adboard. I wonder if this means they'll replace the 'Nautilus' ads at Monaco with 'Shell'?

But if they can copy the track with 99% details and just glue fake name on it, we can happily run monza races

But makes you think, whats the point of setting the price so high that nobody wants to buy the rights? Maybe they're waiting until exclusive offer from EA comes in 2030......

Very promising, but I hope they can do something with the size of the front wheels of the BT20 who seem completely wrong.

Doesn't seem that far out to me?

It is disproportionate as if the car had the small front rims of 13-inch used at the begining of the BT19 with new square-shouldered Goodyear tyres wheels used on 15-inch rims on the BT19 later and the BT20.
The diameter of the front and rear rims of the BT20 was identical: 15 inch .

I agree, the modelling does seem to have to much sidewall on the tyre
