I noticed in BZF manager that both the FF and the physics patches alter the car.ini file. If that is the case, which should be installed first?

Also, I noticed that you are interested in Toni's physics patch. I am too(out of curiosity), but I like your FF patch and I'm afraid that installing your FF patch over Toni's physics patch will overwrite Toni's patch(at least the car.ini).

In the past, I had installed your physics patch first, then the FF patch, and it has worked well, but I never noticed the car.ini thingy. Now I'm not too sure if I did it right.

Thanks.

hi.. if you want the physics and FFB alterations, then the best thing to do is install this http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=15 which is both in 1 file

if you want to try toni's alternative car physics and have the FFB mods then you will need to install Toni's files, and then edit the car ini's using the BZF Manager to add the FFB settings.. because both mods contain modified car.ini files if you install the FFB patch afterwards then you will loose all the changes in Toni's files when you overwrite it with the FFB.. now you see why I made a version of my car physics mod with the FFB settings included

so, you need to open the BZF manager and extract the relevant car.ini's .. then copy these lines from the same car.ini in the FFB mod:
#--------------------------------------------------------------------
# Force Feedback
#--------------------------------------------------------------------
FFFrictionNominalLoad = 5250.0;
FFFrictionOffset = 1.5;
FFCenteringNominalLoad = 1050.0;
FFCenteringOffset = 2.0;

hope I made that easy to understand :)
