Hello!

I've been working for some month to collect all classic LeMans cars from GTL and converted them for my own to my LeMans Classic mod.

The mod includes all cars from 1960 to 1986! Take a look to my screens. :-D

But before i can release the mod, i need the permission of all skinners, who ever made any skin/car for GTL.

I hope you get permission to release this as this looks like a great collection of cars/skins and would make the GTL-GTR2 mod even better.

BTW - is that Gulf skin on a GT40?

Yes, it is! :mrgreen:
There're 5 GT40's with GULF livery: John Wyer Automotive 1968 (3x) and 1969 (2x).

Fabulous - looks like you've already done a lot of work to get all these cars on track. This is a mod that deserves to happen.

This looks excellent! .. I hope you get the required permissions, but it may be more effective for you to contact the skinners than to hope that they come across this thread. That's a lot of readme's to go through :)

I've saw in the car's list the shelby daytona coupe. To know, you've separated from GTL the original shelbysound.aud file whit his respective .waw library? I'm interested in that because I want to give (in GTl, I have'nt got GTR) the Daytona coupe's sound to the GT40.

You just need the AUD file from the Shelby (from the GTL-GTR2 mod) and re-name it the same as the GT40.AUD line in the .car file of your GT40.

Then put it in your GT40's folder, and it will read the Shelby sounds.

An advice about the Gulf's GT40: there is in the in the GTL's GTC'65's cars download section an excellent Jackye Ickx's car skin replica, sorry only for some (solved) problems with the not standalone nature of that mod (you simply need a new .car file and the game is done).
This skin is for the original 289cui GT40 and I don't know if there is a new graphic on the your probably 427cui mod and problems about conversion to GTR, but make a look, the draws are excellent.
