Hm, after looking that Alfa race vid. I thought it would be smart to do some driving of the demo if I want to race later and not be last every time...

Here comes the prob.

( seems like a nice day to disgrace myself : )

I like to play with a clutch & H shifter...I'm slow like a snail but this isnt the point...
The way i go throught a turn is "slow" and nothing new to me becouse I was that before ...but if I want to do it "faster" it stops being the matter of speed and starts being the matter of getting at all :roflmao:

Engine braking is too severe for me and I must heel & toe
but to be frankly my attempts to do that are patetic and big part to blame is DFP with too separated pedals....(yea-bleame the padals thing )
so is there way to edit something in .plr file to get auto blip or ?

I got used to doing things at the hard way so I thought maybe it wouldn't be cheating to do someting the easy way for once...

So will I get a answer what to edit in .plr file to get auto blip with manual clutch (if it's possible-and if its not/I can't edit enything we will forget this small conversation :p) or some remark for my own good "men, get a hold of yourself and learn to h&t" with some advices ?

I think GTL has autoblip already enabled. :

Auto Clutch="1"
Auto Lift="0" // Whether to automatically lift with manual shifting but auto-clutch (non-semiautomatic trans only)
Auto Blip="1" // Whether to automatically blip with manual shifting but auto-clutch (non-semiautomatic trans only)
Shift Mode="0"

I set auto lift to off so I can rev in neutral.

BTW, I finally have the full game in the mail! But I will have the MGC in rFactor soon. :P

Ah, then you must manual blip. :) Which I am very practiced at doing in real life. :D

Autoblip and -lift only works in combination with the semiautomatic clutch. Here you can enable or disable both options independent of each other. If you use the manual clutch, this options don't work - you have to do it yourself as in a real car. So the answer to your initial question is : no, you can't!
I have no clutchpedal and have to use the autoclutch because clutch assigned to a digital button with the only option on or off isn't the big hit. But I have autoblip and -lift disabled in the .plr. No problem at all, it is just a matter how you are used to it. It should be much easier with a separate analog clutchpedal, where you can vary yourself, how fast or slow you release the clutch.
Heel and toe? This is the way it is practiced in reallive. But I think, I can see your problem. The PC-pedals are not the the same as in a realcar and ergonometrics requires legs made of gum to move brake and throttle at the same time.
Sorry for not beeing able to offer a better solution than to buy some better pedals or to go back to autoclutch. Unfortunately Simbin only included solutions for people with perfect harware or on the other hand for unskilled dummies like me.

Do like I do
No autoclutch-no autoblip -no auto lift- no messing around
Driving like a real man. :ace:  :-) :trophy:
:p
Add throtle on each downshift-be cautious on the upshifts and have fun.
It is totaly different to autoclutch as it becomes quite a bit more messy to drive-much more to be careful about.
The bonus of this is that you get to hear and enjoy your blips of thortle on the downshifts(OHHHH-the 911 is just magic on that) and you get more options to save it on the understeer situations(or to cock it up of course).

I think i wouldn't mind your real life pedals under my desk for start learning this ...

That variable speed is saving me sometimes but I don't think it's easier with a pedal than a button becouse I don't have 3 legs and i have lots of fingers for a butons ;)

If i understeand it you don't h&t but you are only keeping throtle while braking...?

As it seems that I can't have autoblip ...h&t here i come...o, brother-this is going to be good :
any advices how to do it painless or without braking my foot :p ?

btw PG, I didn't want to sound like pain i the a** but ....are you still looking for that "store"...If you can't find it nevermind...I will buy that stuff over other source even thought its 30% more and 3 months of waiting...

I have been looking like mad-no results.
Sorry about that.
Will however ask my brother that works in a computer company if they have anything like that.
