Ive read some reviews of EVO and it gets nice scores. But is it worth it? I know it isnt very expensive at all but what I wonder is will it get more tracks and cars like GTR2 or is it impossible due to encrypted files?

I read that it is "easier" to recover a loss of grip, (i always spin off at GTR2 when i loose grip on my rear tires) is this a fact?

Is the online mode better or worse?

Sorry if these Q has been asked before.

it is worth every cent. I finally finished downloading it off steam last week but as soon as i started playing I had the biggest smile on my face. In terms of cars they react very convincingly. The two biggest improvements over GTR2 are the tyres and the force feedback. The tyres don't snap as quickly as those in GTR2 and the improvement in force feedback allows you to feel when the slide is starting to develop plus when you go to correct a slide you can feel exactly how much counter steer you need to stop the slide.

In short despite the loss of night and 24 hour races, less cars on grid, the core physics and force feedback improvements far outweigh these and make the game a truly enjoyable experience.

I haven't got GTEvo however if you are asking is it moddable, then the answer is, yes it is moddable. You can see what tracks are already available if you go to the Race and Race 07 download sections. I cannot be absolutely sure about this but Race07 suffers from a serious malady, it doesn't allow you to filter addon cars easily. My BTWC cars have not be released for Race07 because there is no easy way to seperate them from WTCC cars. It would require Simbin to give it a filter, slot or some such. GTR Evo may have the same problem and car mods will need Simbin support and input to function independently. I stand to be corrected on this, and rather hope this is something that has had some evolution.
