rFactor NAGT mod conversion to GTR2??

Unless it is meant as a joke, I think that responding to a legitimate conversion question like this is ridiculous.:thumbdown: If a person were interested in driving it in Rfactor they wouldn't even ask the question. When folks in the Rfactor thread ask about a GTR2 car or track you don't get, " why don't you just drive it in GTR2". At least I haven't seen that.

Actually the only reason I'm looking for it in GTR2 is that I only have time put mods into and play one game.:-P Nothing to do with format type or tintop vs open wheel. I'm sure rFactor is a good game too.I just don't have the time...

I do have rfactor, and have spent many hours this week playing NAGT. I love the cars, and how they drive. I'm an offline player, however, and the AI in rfactor is MUCH worse than in GTR2. I mean the AI in GTR2 isn't all that I'd like it to be, but at least they seem to have a bit of respect for you. In rfactor, the AI drives as if it can't even see you most of the time.

I could be wrong but I thought I read some place that the mod authors didn't want to see this in GTR2. But like I said, I could be wrong.

The caddy is at an undisclosed location, and the GTO doesn't need to be converted because there has already been a good one done for GTR2.

IMHO the GTO in the NAGT mod does not look like a GTO. Certainly not as close as the one that was done for GTR2.

I'm not sure exactly. I know it was pulled from NG because it was taken from another game, but don't quote me on that. I'm sure if you looked hard enough you'll find it......

The caddy is at an undisclosed location, and the GTO doesn't need to be converted because there has already been a good one done for GTR2.

The GTO for GTR2 was a TDU or GRID conversion done by SCCA1981 (I believe). I also believe it's a "Drift" racer and has a unique body style with unique parts. It's a totally different car from the real-life Speed Challenge model which looks pratically stock compared to it. I haven't seen the NAGT GTO but it's probably much closer to its real-life counterpart. In my opinion, even with the GTR2 model, there'd have to be some major (and minor) work done to make it look correct.

As for the Caddy: Pump is correct in stating it's "at an undisclosed location". Perhaps somewhere in Area 51; who knows? hehe It's a shame regardless... I hear it's a great mod that represents a series containing some of the best racing available out there at the moment. The SPEED GT/TC World Challenge is extremely popular; it's also a favourite of mine and GTR2 is simply not the same without it. :-( But what can you do, eh? ;-)

I really do not think that the NAGT mod's GTO looks better, if I am honest, it doesn't look like a GTO at all based on the dimensions, it is much too wide and low.

Maybe you SHOULD try Evo-GT's AI to rectify your point of view!! :twisted:
