Which car should I buy for GTC65? Will I win any races in the Healey 3000? I have almost enough money now.

Get yourself an Elan. It is excelent and well worth it's money.
You will have to keep it on the limmit through the curves, but if driven correctly not much can touch it in the GT65 category.

I'd agree that the Elan is fastest, but try the Alp' you may be pleasantly surprised ;) I have won at Spa against a full field of GT's, in fact the only place I failed was Monza.

I test drove the Alpine last night. It is very nice! I love the close ratio gearbox, and also find the car very easy to control. Sounds good too! How real are the cockpit and sounds? Does yours have the same or similar gear ratios?

Glad you like the old girl  I find the entire GTL/Alpine experience very believable. Don't forget, I have not taken mine around a track in the dry, but I fully connect with how it behaves, from the little I have learned taking roundabouts too fast ;) - the GTL version is doing what it should. I should really check the GTL ratios to be sure, but they feel spot on. In car sounds....I recognise it, but I think like most cars in GTL, what we hear is nothing like the aural mayhem you get in real life :p

I mean....just imagine what the Pantera must sound like in a totally stripped out cockpit :D :
