Does anyone have that tutorial on them? I'm wanting to convert Nurburgring, but i don't fancy exporting each object one by one in GP4 Builder to .3ds. Is there a quicker way?

S.Moss..if you have it open in Gp4Builder..then export all as .wrl..if you dont have 3dsmax, then you'll need another program that can export the wrl as a .3ds. My suggestion is Right hemisphere's Deep Exploration. once you exported it out as a 3ds then you can open in 3dsimed...

ok thanks  will give that a go :-)
is this the only way?
Because I have some problems with the exporting from ZM2 to gmt.
(import the single objects .gp4 into ZM1, then saving, importing into ZM2, exporting to gmt) All objects are mirrored, a left corner is than a right corner:crying:
Ice, sorry to say, but zmodeler is not gonna be a good way to convert gp4 tracks..I have converted countless gp4 tracks and released Taruma and AMS and i can honestly tell you that the method i created is probably gonna be the easiest.
1. open the track in gp4builder
2. export as .wrl
3. import .wrl into Right hemispheres Deep exploration(possibly blender could be used) also make sure you set the textures to export .tga
4. export as .3ds and .tgas into a new folder
5. import the .3ds file into 3dsimed
and thats really it..
try it with an original GP4 track.
Unforunately, there were a few scratch tracks that i came across and was nearly impossible to do with this or any other method. case in point, Adelaide 89 released by F1-7ties, RacerM and myself. I had to jump thru a ton of hoops to even get that one into rfactor..which actually included deleting certain scenes from the .gp4 file to barely get it exported..
good luck!!
thanks.
seems to be the better way, but after importing into 3dsimed the whole scene is rotated 90° into vertical position.
thanks.

hmm..that shouldnt happen..was it rotated when you imported the .wrl file?
if so, you should easily be able to rotate it back in 3dsimed..i beleive the feature in the latest version made it easier to rotate..otherwise, you may need to make sure its all centered in your program before exporting to .3ds..
I've found a way, needs more time, but the result is best one.
(after rotating during the 3ds exporting process the whole track is mirrored.)
I'll export scene per scene to 3ds, so that I have all objects as single 3ds.
Then I'll import it to 3dsimed and save it as gmt.
(about 2000 single gp4 objects  )
