The mod authors say the car behaves as it should and that it could be an issue with your wheel settings.

Although having said that, this is the "only" car I have ever had that issue with in any mod. So I don't know how to answer you. :?:

But you're not alone. Several other people have mentioned this same behavior.

Its the tyre file. Best off setting another tyre for the car. But it will cause online mismatch.

This is not an controller issue, i drove a lot cars in GT-Legends but none of this car shows a behavior like the mclaren. So maybe the author of the physics has another opinion how to drive a modern GT-Racecar. :?:

There were some suggestions in the release thread for WSGT, I think on p3 and then later. These do help, but it does still wander a bit at high speeds. I love it though, best thrill in a sim since GPL, sounds awesome...

I'll post my tinkered setup, but you can probably improve this. It says Cadwell but is actually
Spa 03

I have the feeling you tested the car only on Spa. :?:

Drive the VLM_LeMans and you will see that the car is undriveable on the Hunaudiersstraight.

With your Setup you reach on the end of the Kemmel-Straight about 270-280 kph and then the problem with the wandering is minimal.
But when you drive on a long straight with low downforce like LeMans you will have the problems. Please test it. I would very thankful.

It's funny that you think I haven't test the thing on the other tracks:laugh:. I did that on Monza and up to 305km/h with no problems.

Although there will be a fix on the rear suspension layout of the car, but I think some of you will still complain about things in the mod, if you are not happy with it, just don't play it, it's simple to do that, and I started to feel annoying about the complaints.

Dear Arnold Wong, it's a great mod, it's the best there is, so please don't feel annoying!!
Could be I'm a bad setup manager! Will try your setup for spa, Thanks,.....Hez.

Well I tried Arnold's Spa setup at Le Mans unchanged. I could get her up to 289 kph on the straight, the wandering was there but was perfectly driveable. You couldn't relax, put your feet up on the dash and watch the scenery go by, but you could drive it down there. I didn't try an overtake, that could be more difficult.

I then reduced the wings to 1/6 f/r and lengthened the gears out, and saw 314 kph on the clock, again still driveable.

Lastly I pushed 6th out to the max, dropped the aero to 1/1, and peaked at 321 kph, and thought maybe they should lengthen the straight! I stuffed it into the wall at the Hunaudieres kink, but I could possibly have taken it if I had been a little more gentle on the wheel.

I have a Logitech DFP, if that is relevant. I need to get better settings for it, I get huge bumps and feedback mid-corner with it, which is very distracting and tiring on full effects. If anyone has good settings for this mod, could they share them?

And thanks for the set up Arnold! And thanks to all involved in creating WSGT, it is a fantastic mod!

A quick solution is to go to the in-game setup...setup 2...change the toe-in from -0.40 to -0.10 on the front and rear...helps a lot...

She's a bitch to drive with a keyboard but I love it...thanks Arnold...Great car :-)
