I have little problems with this cd protection (Starforce). I bought orginal game worked yesterday very well but today none. Has anyone got this problem (says no DVD on drive)?

Have you tried to update starforce drivers?
Dont ask how to do it. I have no idea,but it might be worth to try.

Try take DMA settings off in your dvd-drive,sometimes that help. Huomasin,että oot suomesta,noi DMA:t lähtee muistaakseni laitehallinnasta.

As this is a problems thread......


Last week or so my computer crashed during GTL. This was not the fault of GTL, I'm crunching everything out of this old thing as I possibly can so it just overheated an decided to shut down.

The bad thing was that I lost a substantial part of my career in GTL....and I do not know exactly what files to back-up every now and then to stop that from happening. Anyone?

Copy your:

GTL\userdata\playername folder to OUTSIDE of your GTL folder, anywhere, your desktop will do. I copy mine after every gamin session (once a day basically)
