my copy of GPL just arrived! Now What?

any tips to get up to speed with you guys?
most of you guys are half way around the world so who do I race?

Mudsnow is close relatively, so are some others. And you can always wake me up for a race.:)

And I just started the game, no cheating allowed. You'll be up with me in no time.

you probably want to find other people with GPL... not sure that posting in a GTL forum will achieve that :p

UPS just charges more for brokerage than the item is worth and double taxes me

anyway - do you just start as a professional to get the most credits?
or can I race semi-pro and turn off all the driving aids to get more credits than default semi pro?

I think you can. I drive as a semi pro and have everything turned off besides autoclutch.
