I know i do, and id like to think it would make better use of the Lizard engine than the 360 does, some of the screen shots a quite... disappointing, but alas i haven't seen any news on this subject, and was wondering what the forum dwellers thought...

you should've included 'i hope so' in the poll options, i'd have voted for that :-)

thats what i was getting at with the "Yes" option, but ya, that would have been a good idea

From the Simbin site

SimBin works continuously with the development of Lizard focusing mainly on X-Box 360 and PC but will be adapting it to other consoles such as the PlayStation3.

So PS3 titles seem likely.

Seems to me it would be a no-brainer, G25 compatible and other good wheels, ps3 should have been there main console of choice.

It just pure madness to release any driving game for XO before MS sort that idiotic "no good wheel support"-thing away.

I believe XBox360 has the advantage that coding for it is similar to the PC, so its relatively easy to produce a game engine which will run on PC and XBox360.

Like highflyer said, without a decent wheel it's pointless to release on Xbox360. If Simbin want to go down the console route thats fine by me, but to do it properly and not whats just convenient for Simbin. In this particular instance they really should listen to the voice of there customers. Perhaps there should be a pole to gauge just how many people will buy a "simulation" without a decent wheel. After the results of this pole perhaps Simbin would be advised to take note. I refuse to drive any driving game using a gamepad, its simply too restrictive, removes both fine control and the immersion factor, I dont car how good you can get with practice.

There's a Fanatec Porsche 911 wheel coming for XBOX360. :)

Dayum I'd then have to own two wheels. Also it states these wheels are limited editions; theres going to be high demand and inflated prices, as a result not the most confidence inspiring purchase you'd ever make.

Why? That wheel also supports your pc and PS3 I guess :). At least the PC is supported.

I'm really interested in this:

I'm sure Simbin are listening to their potential customers. Simbin could aim their console title at the small minority like you who own a wheel or they could aim it at the large majority who don't. I know which I'd choose if I were Simbin :) Of course ideally you would aim at both, but to suggest Simbin should not primarily aim a console title at those with a game-pad isn't realistic. And of course you can buy a wheel for XBox360 - its just not very good as I understand it.

Blimey have adopted the same approach. There have been two instances of a public preview of their new Ferrari title - in both cases the tester was given no option but to drive the title using a game-pad.

The other thing to remember is development time - Simbin and Blimey have been developing their new engines for about 3 years, and 3 years ago I doubt much was known about the quality of the Microsoft XBox wheel, and the PS3 wasn't launched.

Whats with the school-bus driving position of that cockpit? It looks like your going to fall out of that chair. maybe if they just, tilted it... and then replace it with a G25...
