History:Hardtop Coupe
Chassis Num: 6F07K319819

Jim Whelan purchased this car, in the fall of 1965, from Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Jim worked for them as their high performance advisor for Shelby products and Tousley Ford sponsored his racing.
The car was immediately taken to their shop and built into an 'A' sedan race car.
It was first raced June 12, 1966, at a Regional race in Bloomington, Minnesota, and it won.

On August 27, 1967, the car was raced in the Trans Am Race at the Continental Divide Raceway in Denver, where it finished in 6th place.
It was the best placing independent car. The car was painted gold with brown stripes for this race.

Shortly after the Trans Am Race, the car was sold to Jim Courtney, who continued to race the car in SCCA as an 'A' sedan car.
The car was retired in 1968.

In 1995 the car was restored by Lee and Don Wilmot of Vintage Mustangs. Although the car was raced for years after the Trans Am Race,
the body was never altered to fit the rules updated in subsequent years.
As a result, the car looks exactly like it did when it raced in 1967.

Hope you enjoy!,
Hump

The car will show up in game as #89AS
This is a standalone car no files will
be overwritten
