Here it is, rally of Great Britain, 7 stages and original cars.

Well, I did it, but I had a terrible rally. Something happened to my setups- RBR sometimes will mess up setups, but I can't figure out how or why. I suspect it's because as a warm up I did some rallies in my single player season with the Xsara and used the same setups as I use online. I think maybe the game does not reset changes to your setups as a result of damage. It's only a hunch, but that car brand new for this rally felt an AWFUL lot like the banged up car I was struggling with in my season.
Either way, I drove like shit, but finished. I had no brakes for the last 3/4 of SS5 and all of SS6 but still managed to use engine braking to keep out of the weeds!
I have heard that it's recommended that you will boot rbr before using plugin, because of the setup issues.

I managed to finish it, although i feel i could have been a lot faster when using my own setups, because the default ones are not good at all when driving with a keyboard like me...
Anyway great fun to say the least!
Why then you didn't use your own setups?
I've decided to re-install RBR, haven't had a chance to go online or even setu a new user.
maybe this weekend I'll try

I couldn't change it for some reason, don't ask why, maybe i have to reinstall RBR as well..
Strange, did you go straight into plugin when started rbr? If you drive some practise before starting tournament it may mess up the setup selection.
Aha- I understand. I'm surprised I am so close to Joona- I can't keep up with that cat- he is much better than I am.
Rally closed and leaderboard updated.
Still some technical problems with everyone else so easy win for me.
ps. tell me if someone no-gripper is missing from the leaderboard ;)

Don't get me wrong here :P i said i could have been faster BUT only by max 1min or so!
I also reinstalled RBR and good news - the setup problems solved now :)
EDIT: Does anyone know why Pero was so slow (by his standards of course!) ?
EDIT2: I read the race comments now i know the reason...

hehe - yes I was utter crap
I really am not fammiliar with the stages and drive RBR VERY rarely. I did this with no practise and it showed - I know that I could be on the pace if I had practised a lot in advance, might still do it for the next round.
Where can we find the season standings so far? I have a 1st place and a 4th place, so I should be doing OK.
Also, when is the next rally and where are we heading (virtually speaking)?
We are not driving season yet ;)

"Another No-grip RBR Race" shouldn't it?
Then when do we start a season up? This is good news because I'll be able to avenge my terrible luck in GB! And maybe when the season starts up I'll have my new pedal setup too!

Well, maybe we could start a season. Let's have a look at it next week. Now i'm going to leave to Jyväskylä ;)

A problem that i share with you i guess, i have been away/or working with the WRC mod...
I better get some mileage and experience from the stages or i won't improve much even with my own setups :drive:
Now i'm going to leave to Jyväskylä

Yeah, I know a lot of the stages pretty well now, but I absolutely suck at the reversed stages. I've always had problems with reverse stages and tracks in racing games. Not sure why, really. :P

Rally School 1 was reversed. There was talk for a long time about coming out with every stage reversed. No talk of it in a while now though.
What happened with that mod?
