Race for Fun 2 - Sweden 5...

I don't know if I have the permission to initiate another Fun-Race, but I'll try it. I need this to countervail my frustration from practise my new RichardBurnsRally (with a gamepad). I try to make the Rally GB (the no-grip RBRonline race), but I can't finish it one time. :banghead:

So here is my suggestion:
Rear-engined Cars Cup / Snow. Stage: orig.Sweden 5 - Cars: Renault 8 Gordini - NON-FTC Fiat Abarth 600 - Simca 1000 Rallye 2 - VW Beetle Rally. Yes, I know these cars are not really TTmod compatible. But this is another combination we can't have in a regular season and I think it will be a funny race.
Of course TTrealmod (get it here:http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=671) is mandatory and this is a hotlapping event so you can try and try and try...

To make a little easier for me to see the replays it will be fine if the cars are on this slots: Renault 8 G = car_5 - nonFTC Fiat Abarth 600 = car_9 - Simca 1000 R2 = car_10 and VW Beetle Rally = car_15 (if your car use another slot, please write which one you use). Thanks.
For this placements I have compiled a TTmod-tyres Set for the cars.

The race starts now and ends 23th August 19.00 GMT

Thanks to the one who makes the race "sticky". :)

My test run (with every car two runs) times are between 2:38 and 2:41 depending which car I use. I can't reckon the times, so are they good or bad (alien or non alien)?

Best feeling drive and speed has the R-8 for me, but the slowest time. With the Simca it feels not so good and fast, but it was the fastest run so far.

Which car will you choose?

Hello,

after watching Rally Finland yesterday on Eurosport I try to find out which car is the fastest for me. The Abarth is it not (best time: 2:36:xx). The three other cars are nearly the same (R 8: 2:31:80 / Simca: 2:31:83 / VW: 2:31:84), so I think I'm the limitation - not the cars...
Which time/car do you drive...?

Well, I drove a while and got 2:30:75 with the Beetle.
Reindeer hopping here and there :D

Maybe lots to shave off with serious trying, but that wouldn't be fun, would it? ;)

Only tried the Fiat and R8. Managed a 2:33:81 in the R8 so that will do for now. Reindeer running amok. (R8 is in slot 19)

About 60% of the stage is a pleasure to drive but i absolutely hate the 90 degree turns, i always lose most of my time in those kind of turns...

yesterday it was another grey, cold and rainy SUMMERday so I make some runs to find the fastest car for me. Third place: Simca 1000 = 2:28:22 - Second place: VW Beetle = 2:25:78 - and the first: Renault 8 Gordini: 2:25:34 (dedicated to this one :cry: http://www.nogripracing.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1568&cat=512).

It's a pity that there are no real aliens in this race untill now...:p

Nice warm-up race again, next season should be really close fighting - just look at the times here fore example :)
