As you know when you register an email is sent with a verification link for you to click to complete the registration process - sometimes for various reasons this isn't done and we end up with stale user accounts that no one can use.
To deal with this problem I've installed an addon for the forum that will send reminder emails to anyone who hasn't activated their account, and if after a few days they still have not activated/verified the account it is automatically deleted.
