Hello!

Just registered today and i was wondering why the hotlaps section for Nordschleife is so empty?

We are a bunch of people here in Stockholm who compete with eachother with the Radical SR4 205hp with the standard nordschleife setup (but with 1L of fuel) on the nordschleife. Just trying to beat eachothers hotlaps.. It's a great car to drive on the limit, just enough horsepower.

We haven't recorded any replays until today but our fastest lap was driven by a guy named Danne who have run a 6:43.7xx.. I uploaded a replay of a 6:44.006 i did today.. Here's the replay http://www.nogripracing.com/hotlaps/race07.php?do=driver&user=123855

We would like to know how we stand compared to the rest of you guys, anyone wanna try?

Thought the F3000 times were a bit slow so i tried to beat em. ran a 6.06.965 with alot of mistakes.. could easily shave a second or two of it.

Hope to see some more nordschleife hotlaps as it is a great track!

I know more of the guys that drives here will upload laps this week

I gave the radical 205 a go and just managed a sub 7. Looks like I need a bit more practice......

Tbh, I didn't imagine my f3000 time would be anywhere near the no.1 slot - I guess most of the die-hard racing fans are still playing GTR2.

Btw, do you set your times in a qualifying session or in time attack mode?

Happy to see alot more hotlap times with radicals on the nordschleife!
Everyone seemed to use the 252hp version tho so we switched to that one here aswell. Managed a 6:29.288

We also figured out that you can generate alot more traction in qualify mode due to the weird tyre pressures in Time Attack.

Why GTR2? Aint no option for us anyways, We run GTR Evo due to that we are using raceroom simulators.

Hi there (Tjenare svenskfan :)

Are you able to show me/us the setup which you are using for the 252bhp version ?

Just take a screenshot of the pages, or upload it. I'm 10 seconds behind your time and can't stretch it any further hehe.

Don't have the pro chairs and wheel either, just a Logitech Rumblepad and a normal pc screen. Would be nice to check out your setup for the car though ;-)

I don't have the setup in my head but it not much change from standard setup, I think we added about 3-4 on dampers settings and some very small change to the gearbox (like 1 click on some gears)

I have done a faster lap then Isak with 252hp but for some reason if you press ESC and press restart the replay function don't work but I will make a new try this week I think.

But other then that the only thing I have done is just put my time in the track. But maybe 1 of 10 laps is a fast lap (for my self speaking) and the rest is about ½-1½ second slower, if I don't crash (normally in some part between "Karussell" and Schwalbenschwanz)

Edit: I will ask Isak to put up the setup.

I can screenshot the setups for you tommorow - but we all run a little different setups. I like my car to be a bit oversteered in high speed and if possible neutral to understeered going out of slower corners. So i tend to have a little less rear wing, a little higher gearings overall, less lock on the diff and more rideheight in the rear. And also more steering lock.

Im a quite aggressive driver so I like to downshift earlier then DanielJ to get the rear end to slide a little, i have no patience when it comes to waiting to accelerate going out of corners - therefore i want less revs and therefore higher gearings. Daniel is more elegant in his driving style.

Im also less sensitive and i dont notice setup changes as good as Daniel, i tend to drive around the problems rather then fixing them. Therefore i let other guys do for example the dampers for me.

Zip up the setup file, and you can attach it into any post, so long as you choose the "Go Advanced" option.

Ran a 6.55 today in the 205bhp one. Only another 10 seconds to find LOL. Can't post the lap due to running wide at the first corner......

I need to work out which curbs are safe for the radical. Not as many as other cars, but there are one or two that can be exploited.

Practice, practice, practice....

^ Yup, the nordschleife.

I downloaded Cargel Racing Isak's lap for 'research', and I reckon I can find a few more seconds.

It's all about the corners...... ;)
