new sounds...what happened?

Finally got my sim 'under control', and can devote a bit more time to adding whatever patches may be out there now. Went to download a few new car sounds (have yet to try one), and none of the downloads work any longer. Was disappointing to find the new sounds unavailable by MethylEthyl.

Can anyone advise me as what is up? Posted elsewhere, going to be re-posted, etc.?
