I've got a question...will it start raining in the middle of a race or maybe stop raining during the race?
I put the demo on changable weather and it never really seems to change during the race.
Sometimes it's raining at practice and then clear for qual. and then rains during race...but never changes while your out running around.

Did you have time acceleration on? If time is passing like normal I can't imagine that the weather would change too drastically.

More info on league requested. Racing against 'real' competitors is the best. I found another league, probably european...already started. Hope this one is still open, the other was not.

Hi bentfocus, I'm still waiting on my preordered copy of GTR2 to show up (order status is showing friday 29th ATM), so its kinda hard to even set a definite start date yet ;)

all I can say for sure right now is it will be hosted off our dedicated race server, and the format will be similar to our GTL races, ie it will be open to whoever turns up each week.

Well, i'd like to join the league too... i've been looking for a nice league in a while, specially since the "old" GTR multiplayer was horrible.

finally some good news, the store I ordered from now has the game in stock so it should be here tomorrow, then I can get it uploaded to the server and work out the league details :)

I'm pretty quick and a clean racer and I've been waiting to find a good, clean and fun league. The public servers on GTR and GTL could be pretty bad so I'm guessing not much would have changed in GTR2.

I suppose you guys run "trial sessions" or something just so you don't let anyone in?

I'll keep checking back for more info!

update - eventually got the game this morning (the buggers sent it 2nd class post), so I'll be uploading to the server tonight and it should be usable tomorrow if it all goes ok.. I guess I'll run it as public server at first to test its working ok while we sort out the league details :D
