Engine sound problem

I'm totally newbie with GTR2 and I've got a problem wich I don't recognize the source.

With every car, whatever setting I've got, the engine sound is not armonious... It stutters, cuts... I would like to know if this depende on the height of the car or if it's a bug of the game.

I'm playing with a PS2 pad with an USB adapter. I wondering if this is the problem because some buttons do strange things while playing like, jumping from a view to another or jumping gears.

You can lower the number of simultaneous sounds played in the options under sound settings, maybe your sound card is not cutting it but I doubt it.

Make sure you get the latest sound card drivers.


Also remap your gamepad so no two buttons are used at teh same time.
