Custom Championships

Is there an existing utility, or an easy way, to write your own Customised Championships ?

Personally I would like to race a field of same make cars. Just thought that way the AI racing over short 15 lap races might be closer and more furious than the in-game stuff. Especially on shorter club circuits.

Anybody got any knowledge or views on this please :-)

Hi, I'm a noob also. I found if you go to the driving school it unlocks custom championships. (There is an arrow if you go to championships just click it right.) There are some single make championships in the custom. Hope this helps.

Do I need to edit the "txt" and "gdb" files in the root of the Gamedata folder. There is a "Single make.txt" and "gdb" file in there. I've edited the gdb file so the only entry is BMW M3, but get the full field for Race Weekends.

BTW, tried the BMW M3 Challenge mod and its great - (Hugs'n kisses all round), but how do I make a race weekend at a circuit of my choosing (Thruxton, Snetterton, Castle Combe, Croft, Mallory Park etc. - you get the picture) with only one make available ?

Well, now Iv'e discovered CS GTR2 by BBraskey, so I'll see how that works.
I should have had a thorough look through the Download section before I made my original post. Sorry for taking up space / time on the board :-)

However, the question still remains, can I tweak things so I can have a Race Weekend aginst just one Car Make i.e. BMW M3 GT

Ok Stepy, thanx, but how do I make Race Weekends with only one make of car ? Am I missing something easy-peasey in the options !!? or what?

PS - Have started work on Kirkestown circuit, but it's in the early stages and the first track I have attempted. I want to achieve versions with and without the chicane.

Sorry mis-read your post hought you meant a custom championship with the M3 GTR only.
to do a race weekend with just the M3 GTR click race weekend then the car tab button at the top of the screen. Just below these tabs theres a arrow left arrow right click one until you get "Single Makes". You should now see all the different makes listed. BMW M3 GTR is top of the list, RIGHT click on this and thats it a race weekend with the M3`s only. hope this helps
