Problems with files

Hi,
I've been trying to install Motec, but every time
I try to run the installer it says that its corrupt.
I've tried downloading it again for about five times.
It did install before I reinstalled XP. Its not just
Motec. Some other files I download , but when I run the installers
it displays the same "corrupt" message. Do you think its just
the files or do you think it might be something on my pc?
Please help if you can,

I had the same problem a few months ago. It turned out that i had set my downloader to" automatic start download" instead of "manually start download". ( give it a chance to intialize the download).
The second item was that i had to set the download to a lower speed.
May be it will help you, if not I hope someone else has a better idea
