Can someone please direct me to what folders these cars go.
Thanks:cool:: :confused::
DeTomaso Pantera - GTL\GameData\Teams\GTC-TC-76
Ford GT40 - GTL\GameData\Teams\GTC-65
This assumes you are talking about GT Legends...

If your sound doesn't work this is the prob
C:\GTR2\GameData\Sounds\Cars\GT40_SA
Instead of C:\GTR2\GameData\sound\cars\GT40_SA
so move the GT40_SA folder and then you can delete C:\GTR2\GameData\sound
Randy missed one tiny S when he made his folders :p
see the thread in the downloads forum.

Are you talking about the GT40 pack for GTR2?
I couldn't get mine to work either

At another location (www.gtr4u.de?) or here (?) there is another download. "Mixing" these versions will make success. First these cars didn´t run on my computer, now they go, but pantera is very slippery, gt40 is much more better.
Good luck!

I thought it was for the GTR 2, the Pant/GT40.

Let some air out of the tires if its too wild for you.Especially the fronts.

GT40 in GTR2 for me works great, however my preference for physics is the nap mod. Can this be made to work?
Cheers

My cars work fine, but still no engine sounds. Put sound files where you said to put them. Can even see them listed and I even try them with my MP3 player. But, in the game I have no engine sounds for the GT40 and Pantera.
Any suggestions?

Patience, patience. :D I've been using the NAP tire model with modification on what I'm testing right now and I'm really encouraged by it. I can toss the car around and get the tail out and hold it in a drift. Lots of fun.
PM me if you have some time to test. We've got about a dozen cars now with decent physics but testing is so important to get a proper end result. :)

I didn't dl Randy's latest, but the problem has to be in a path somewhere. Make sure the CAR file refers to the correct AUD file and make sure the AUD file has the same path to the sounds that you do. Problem will be there somewhere. :)

Any suggestions? go to your sounds folder in GTR2, open it up, create a new folder and name it "Cars". Place the sounds in it and that should do it

Nothing worked untill I tried something different.
I made a folder named "Cars" . I then made a folder named "GT40_SA".
Then I placed all the included sound files in the Pantera folder. And did the same with the GT40 folder. Now I have every sound for each car in the game.
